Overview

Wifi Hotspots

A limited number of Internet Hot Spots are available by request.  Please contact your school site for more information.  Hot spots are provided based on the following criteria: 

  • experiencing homelessness
  • unable to obtain service through Kids Connect Program
  • 3 or more students in the home (bandwidth)
  • other extenuating circumstances

Other Wifi Hotspots

Sacramento Public Library Hotspots: City of Sacramento residents impacted by COVID-19 can checkout a hotspot from the Lucky Day Collection for six weeks at City of Sacramento locations using curbside service. Learn more at saclibrary.org/hotspots.

XFinity, AT&T, Consolidated Communications Wifi Hotspots are all open and free. 

Free Wifi in City of Sacramento Parks: the City of Sacramento is offering free Wifi in some of its parks with more to be installed later this year. The internet access is only available during the parks’ hours of operation. See list of parks with active Wifi and more information on the program.
